About Me

I’m a user experience researcher and project manager focused on creating legal innovations through human-centered design. I have over 15 years of experience in non-profits, and a diverse background in visual art and public interest law. Prior to transitioning to user experience research, I worked as a paralegal at Legal Services of South Central Michigan, a free legal services program focused on eviction prevention and public benefit maintenance for low-income residents in Washtenaw County.

My recent research include user-testing eviction court forms and researching the barriers self-represented litigants face in landlord-tenant court. Additionally, I am a research assistant in the Better Government Lab, which conducts rigorous evaluations to improve government effectiveness and make public services more accessible. My research has been supported by grants from the University of Michigan Library's Anti-Racist Digital Research Institute and the Master's Thesis Option Program.

I have a Master of Science in Information degree and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.
